Traditional craftsmanship
The excellent knowledge of electronics and the affection and admiration
of the original pipe organ, allowed CONTENT to create a high musical
standard that inspires musicians and audience alike, wherever the organ
is performing. Content organs combine the latest digital technology
with traditional craftsmanship. The attention for detail is reflected
in the musical result.
Innovation and quality control
Teamwork is the number one issue within Content, where input of all
employees is appreciated, although feasibility of implementing always
must prevail. Everybody in the factory is dedicated to market a valuable,
innovative instrument with high quality on every aspect of the organ.
The organs are meticulously tested for quality and durability during
every step of the production process, virtually ensuring a trouble free
performance of the organ over many years to come. Finally all organs
are individually played by our technicians, who are dedicated to create
a heart and soul in the instrument that is to inspire the organist and
audience alike.
Technology
Elpro, the holding company of Content Organs, has developed a special
custom built chip for the digital sound engine. Thus a very realistic
sound character is guaranteed.
To maintain her leading position as one of the major manufacturers in
classical organs worldwide, CONTENT decided to adopt this state of the
art technology. As a result of this a new line of organs was designed.
Up to date developments in the digital technology have been integrated.
The internal data processing in the all new D 5000 series is based on
a 32 bit system technology.
Sampling
A self developed sound generator chip controls extremely large memories
offering these instruments an unlimited versatility. The processor speed
has dramatically increased, allowing very swift processing of all digital
data, creating new features recently thought to be impossible. The effect
of this electronic revolution is an enormous improvement of the musical
character. Actual digital recordings of individual tones (samples) and
stops from many different churches have been made and stored in the
organ memory. A thorough analysis of the sampled stops has enabled our
engineers to faithfully reproduce the nature and timbre of the recorded
pipe organ stop. This results in a realistic, impressive and convincing
sound, both when stops are used as a single voice as well as in a combination
of different stops.
To better meet international demand, next to Dutch samples, we have
also taken recordings from organs in the United Kingdom and France.
